WordCamp Atlanta 2019: Q and A

It’s getting closer. So if you have questions, now’s the time to get answers.

We’re talking, of course, about WordCamp Atlanta 2019, on May 3-5 at the Loudermilk Center downtown. The WordCamp sessions will take place that Saturday and Sunday, but there is an early day available for Beginner Workshops and “Contributor Day” on Friday, the 3rd.

Do you still have questions? Good. Because we’ve got the answers for you:

Question: Are tickets on sale?

Tickets are currently on sale –– but move quickly because the ticket sales do too. Would hate for you to miss out.

Question: Can I volunteer?

Yes, you can! But hurry up to make sure you get in before the event comes—after all, it won’t be long now. Fill out the volunteer application today.

Question: Where should I go?

The Loudermilk Center is located in downtown Atlanta at this address:

40 Courtland Street North East
Atlanta, Georgia 30303

You can find it here on Google Maps. Loudermilk is highly accessible for anyone driving in thanks to proximity to I-75 and I-20, though you might want to make sure that you take traffic into account if you’re arriving from out of town via highway, especially on the busy Friday pre-sessions.

Question: What about parking?

Parking is available at the Loudermilk Center (see above).

Question: Where can I get answers to my specific WordPress questions?

WordPress enthusiasts and experts will be available at the “Happiness Bar” help desk to answer your questions throughout the event. Please limit your time to 30 minutes so others will have a chance to get help as well.

Question: Where can I interact with attendees now?

Keep up with the latest buzz by following WordCamp Atlanta on social media (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram). Check out hashtag #WCATL before during and after the event. There’s also a Slack channel you can join.
