We’re talking, of course, about WordCamp Atlanta 2019, on May 3-5 at the Loudermilk Center downtown. The WordCamp sessions will take place that Saturday and Sunday, but there is an early day available for Beginner Workshops and “Contributor Day” on Friday, the 3rd.

Volunteer to Help Out at WordCamp

Did you know that WordCamp is 100% volunteer organized? If you’d like to help, we’re looking for people to be a part of the synergy and teamwork required to produce this outstanding event. WordCamp is a perfect place for you to contribute by participating in a number of roles, either preparing for, or during, the event.

What are some of the volunteering opportunities?
• Help out at the registration desk during the event
• Room monitoring and/or introducing the speakers
• Sharing your expertise one-on-one at the Happiness Bar
• Taking photographs throughout the weekend
• Helping with prep, including preparing badges and t-shirts
• Being on-call during the weekend for tasks that come up

When is the best time to sign up to be a volunteer? Right now. We appreciate and encourage all levels of commitment.
