Once you’ve mastered WordPress Basics – setting up a site, adding a theme, creating pages and posts, uploading images, adding plugins and widgets – then you’re ready to begin your WordPress customization journey with us. Our full-day Aspiring Web Designers’ Workshop will take you through a process where you’ll learn the best practices for designing WordPress websites that attract your targeted visitors and convert them into clients. We’ll also teach you a method for building the websites you design without coding, using a WordPress page builder called Elementor.

The session will include both lectures and class discussion. We’ll also be available to answer any questions you might have about your website.

Morning Session Covers:

You’ll learn the components of an effective home page design. We’ll then evaluate attendees’ websites, and learn why some approaches work better than others.

Afternoon Session:

You’ll learn a process you can use to quickly create beautiful, effective WordPress pages without writing code. We’ll be using  the free versions of the Astra Theme and the Elementor page builder plugin.
