Sometimes, when you go to camp, it rains. Luckily, WCATL is all indoors. Even better, there’s another full day of amazing sessions, fun networking, and Happiness Bar wisdom to take advantage of before we all return to, well, real life.
Yesterday’s informative and insightful programs, as well last night’s WC After Party, were both huge successes. But of course you knew that – you were there. The Graffiti Wall displayed the unique creative instincts of WordPressers. And attendees discovered how our sponsoring companies can help make them better at what they do. Let’s build on that momentum today.
And be sure to thank your WC speakers and organizers for all their hard work and prep to make the event enriching and memorable.
Aimee Copeland’s powerful Keynote talk Saturday morning started things out with the inspiring message that we are all stronger, more resilient, and more capable than we think. Having risen to her crushing challenges with determination – and good humor – Aimee offered some lessons we’d be wise to carry with us always.
The Creative Diversity of the WordPress community has been on full display in Atlanta. Thanks so much for spending your weekend with us, and for any contribution, large or small, that you’ve made. By the time it’s over, the rain will have stopped. And we will have all shared something pretty special – y’think?
Looking forward to the final day. I have enjoyed WordCamp Atlanta this weekend. Most of the sessions that I choose to go to, especially those covering accessibility and business development, were very informative. The only feedback I would like to leave is that venue, although very nice, seems limiting for the size of this year’s attendance and the flow/organization of the lunch line was not ideal. I definitely plan to attend future WordCamp Atlanta if it works with my schedule. Thanks to all of the organizers, presenters and volunteers! Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend as much as I did and has safe travels back home.
When and where will the content be published for sessions we missed or not able to attend?
