Maxwell Is the totally blind son of carnival owners who turned to helping others sell their amusement equipment after his father’s death forced the closure of the family’s small carnival. He had to learn so much including hand coding html. He was eternally grateful when Word Press came along allowing hm a much easier more accessible way to run his website and blog. People told him he was inspiring them by his willingness to take on new challenges and opportunities and not letting his blindness be an excuse. He has since started a second website and blog and written three books. His latest is about his crazy solo trip to New York City during the Christmas and New Year’s holidays as one of the 2016 Amtrak Writers IN Residence. He has become an online media rock star and now coaches fellow bloggers on how to use online media to share their stories, reach wider audiences, and build their platforms.
