I am best known for teaching beginners how to use WordPress. My love for the internet began in 1994 when I built a website to launch and grow my business. In 2007 I fell in love with WordPress. My specialty is helping you avoid the pain and expense of not knowing what you don’t know about WordPress through one-to-one consultations, the monthly Atlanta WordPress Hands-On Learning Group, and occasional workshops. You can find me on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or LinkedIn.

Carel Bekker

Co-Organizer
This is my second year helping to organize WordCamp Atlanta. I love this community. Everybody is very friendly and always willing to help. I’m responsible for sponsors and we were overwhelmed by the interest from sponsors. We have a great list of sponsors this year!

I’m the owner of ClickHOST.com. We specialize in WordPress friendly hosting and many other web hosting services. Check us out at ClickHOST.com

Mickey Mellen

Mickey is the Technical Director at GreenMellen Media and runs the monthly “All Things WordPress” meetup in Kennesaw. He’s been using WordPress for just under a decade, and has helped build hundreds of WordPress-powered sites over the years. You can find him on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or LinkedIn, among others.

Will Reese

Renee Dobbs

Renee Dobbs is a self-proclaimed Domestic Goddess who loves to eat, drink, and dig in the dirt. She lives in the Metro Atlanta area with her husband and three very spoiled whippets. Renee started blogging to share and connect with the world. She loves both cooking and baking and is equally happy chopping vegetables as whipping frosting. Renee truly enjoys being in the kitchen and sharing her cooking adventures with a WordPress blog. Renee’s blog is Magnolia Days and you can follow her on Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook.

Russell Fair

I’m a web developer and WordPress lover. I’m happy to be part of such an amazing community of WordPress people.

Teresa Rosche Ott

Teresa’s background in communication and decade of design firm experience bring a pro-level, big-picture perspective that’s valuable to small businesses seeking to establish a quality brand, but who aren’t ready for a design team.

Teresa finds WordPress-based websites ideal for small business owners and other entrepreneurial types, and enjoys providing the training and technical heavy lifting that help “little guys” create a professional, competitive web presence. A desire to maintain ninja-like CSS skills, a fascination with LESS and SASS, a dozen years of copywriting experience, and a stint in photography school all support Teresa’s addiction to creating with WordPress.

Travis Smith

This is Travis’s third year helping WordCamp Atlanta. By trade, training, and education, Travis is a learning and development professional. Simply, he does training in corporations, or as he says, “I put cookies on the bottom shelf for everyone.” In the WordPress world, Travis is a self-proclaimed “WordPress enthusiast.” He is a featured developer at WP Engine, a contributor to many popular plugins, a Genesis & WordPress core contributor, and a WordPress and Genesis blogger.
