We’re thrilled to have you join us for WordCamp Atlanta, and we want to make sure you have all the essential information for a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Arrival
Registration starts at 8AM. Once you walk in the door, there are a few things you’ll want to do:
- Stop by the registration desk and pick up your name badge.
- Swing by the t-shirt table and grab your t-shirt. Your badge has a special code that lets us know what size shirt you requested. If you purchased your ticket late, you may not have a badge with this special code. If that is the case, wait until the end of the conference and you can claim a shirt from what we have remaining.
- Grab a coffee. Thanks to A2 Hosting, we’ll have coffee available.
- Grab a bite. Thanks to some of our other sponsors, you’ll be able to grab a granola bar or, a true Atlanta delicacy, a Krispy Kreme doughnut.
- Visit our sponsors. Our sponsors make events like WordCamp Atlanta possible. They also offer some pretty awesome products and services, not to mention swag, so be sure to show them some love!
- Get help. Stop by our Happiness Bar with your WordPress questions and problems, we’ll have people who can answer questions and solve website issues. Don’t worry, you can stop by anytime during the conference.
- Network. Hang out and get to know your fellow WordCampers!
Opening remarks start at 9 AM, followed promptly by sessions at 9:30 AM.
Lunch
Unfortunately, there is no free lunch this year.
We’ll have a food truck available on campus where you can purchase tacos. A vegetarian option is provided.
For those who aren’t interested in the food truck, we’re allowing an hour and a half for lunch in case anyone wants to swing by a local restaurant.

West Parking Deck
Whether you are grabbing an Uber or driving, please use this address for navigation:

You will want to exit the parking deck on the far left side, opposite the entrance. If taking an Uber/Lyft, it would be most convenient to have them drive into the parking deck and let you out at the same far left corner.
Note: Parking in this deck is free during the event, however all other lots are not.
Engineering Technology Center (ETC)
This building is where registration, opening and closing remarks, and all tracks take place.
Directly adjacent to the West Parking Deck, this building is on the left-hand side when you enter the parking deck. If you exit the far left hand side of the parking deck, it is a very short walk to the front of the building.
You will enter through the front of the building via the lobby, which is all glass along the front. This is technically the second floor.
If you need wheelchair access, you’ll need to enter through the side door at ground level and take the elevator to the 2nd floor.
Event Center (Gymnasium)
The event center, or gym, is where lunch will be served. It is a 1/2 mile walk from the main building, which could take up to 10 minutes.
On the day of, you may want to use Google maps to help you find it, although we will have people who can guide you.
